The Nokia Lumia 521 Windows Phone runs a Windows Phone 8 and is a great entry level phone.

The 521 features a 4" screen and you can actually use gloves while using it. The 521 also features a digital lens that can help take multiple photos and using Smart Shoot, edit your pictures and even add motion to them. The rear camera is a 5MP camera, so you can still afford to take professional looking pictures.

The resolution goes down when comparing to the 928, the 800X480 resolution isn't as good as the 1080p Full HD quality, but you are still able to experience a crisp clear picture quality.

Nokia has spent some quality time on even their entry level smartphone. Full of features not seen in many smartphones, and very photo-friendly. You can keep up with all of your social media updates and play the latest Windows Phone 8 games.

This phone is fully capable of hanging with other smartphones, but you will notice a large lacking in speed and multi-tasking when referring to flagship smartphones. The 521 being an entry level phone would be a great starter phone for anyone learning Windows Phone 8 or a first smartphone user.

I love the live tile updates with the Windows Phone 8 Metro UI. It helps give you updates to the important things and quickly. No need to access the app and wait for it to load, when the most updated information is on the tile.

Worth taking a look at and worth trying out if you are wanting to make the switch to Nokia's Windows Phone 8 Lumia Line.
